First London Pub Theatre Festival invites companies to show 30 minutes of new work

London’s first  Pub Theatre Festival  is aiming to create a launch pad for the voices of tomorrow. Theatrefullstop has teamed up with  the Etcetera Theatre and Lion and Unicorn Theatre to present the festival in April 2017.

The aim is to encourage drama school and university students, as well as graduates and emerging theatre makers to stage their works to a paying audience.

The festival will take place over two weekends in April and will allow  groups with a maximum of three performers to showcase 30 minutes of work.

The Pub Theatre Festival  says: “Everyone has to start from somewhere, and with a little support, possibilities can be endless.”

What to submit: In order to be considered, you must submit a bio about yourself and your theatre company, a synopsis of your piece and any other supporting material (video clips/script/photos etc). You must have a finalised idea rather than just an idea you are currently working on.

How to apply: Submissions are to be made to Lucy Basaba at theatrefullstop@gmail.com.

Deadline: Saturday 31 December 2016
