Collaborative Writing Masterclass with the Paper Tiger collective – applications open (fee)

Paper Tiger are holding a one day masterclass which aims to introduce different ways to approach writing and editing collaboratively. As many writers work across theatre, opera, film and TV, they encounter multiple models of ‘collaboration’ at various stages in the writing process and this workshop will unpack ways to:

  • Identify core stimuli to write from and/or respond to
  • Generate material as a group
  • Plot and structure a collective narrative
  • Playfully edit a collective script using simultaneous dramaturgy

This opportunity is open to artists from all cultural backgrounds, including actors, writers and directors.  Applications are welcomed from individuals as well as pairs/ groups.

Cost: £30 per participant. (Payment must be received in advance, on confirmation of your place and cannot be refunded if you cancel on or after Friday 20th September).

To apply: Send an email with your CV or Spotlight Link and a brief paragraph (200 words) on why you want to do the masterclass. In the case of joint applications from pairs/groups, please also submit an additional brief paragraph outlining your collective practice to date. Send for the attention of Felicity to admin@tamasha.org.uk with “Collaborative Writing” in the subject line.
