Pint-Sized Plays sought for pub performance in Tenby Festival Week (£5.50 entry/ win a pint pot/ publication)

The 2017 Pint-Sized Plays Writing Competition is open.

Organisers are looking for scripts capable of being staged in a pub with a running time of between 5 and 10 minutes, with two or three characters only and with minimal additional props.

Six  winning plays will be performed in selected pubs in Pembrokeshire during Tenby Festival week.

The four runners up, at the organisers’ discretion, might also play in pubs .

The ten plays will then go on to be performed at a Script Slam  at Theatr Gwaun in Fishguard. There, the audience get to vote for their favourite script and the winner will walk away with the coveted pint-pot – with a half-pint for the runner up.

All ten plays will be considered for publication in a volume of scripts.

Entry fee: £5.50.
