Monday Club are currently accepting scripts for a rehearsed reading of a new play at the Old Red Lion Theatre.
In their words: “The Spill is an evening of new writing, giving one playwright the opportunity to have their new play performed as a rehearsed reading in front of a live audience. Monday Club work with the successful playwright to source a director and cast of actors for an intensive one day rehearsal period, culminating in a performance at the Old Red Lion Theatre on the same evening. Our aim for The Spill is to spark collaboration amongst passionate writers, directors and actors through the development of their new work.”
They are accepting plays running at 60 minutes or over, finished plays, and plays within any genre, theme or story-line.
The winning applicant will have their work read on 8 October 2017, with a rehearsal starting at 10 am on the same day.
