Submissions for Anthrotalks 2025 are now open!
A pick’n’mix of London’s hottest new performers, Anthrotalks is an evening of poetry, comedy and songs, curated by Anthroplay Theatre. A variety of exceptional artists take to the stage, with each night revolving around a different theme.
Their themes and deadlines this year:
- LOVE – 13th February
- HOPE – 28th March
- DESIRE – 16th May
- PRIDE – 13th June
- COURAGE – 12th September
- SPOOKY OOKY – 9th October
- SEX – 14th November
Anthroplay is looking for poetry, spoken word, monologues, comedy, drag, songs – the lot – for their upcoming Anthrotalks events in 2025. Please upload a video of you performing your piece, and a copy of your text.

Please read the guidelines below before submitting:
• Pieces should be no longer than 5 mins length (3 pages max)
• Make sure they correlate to the theme in some way
• Be available from 5pm onwards on performance date
• Be prepared to travel to Two Brewers, 114 Clapham High Street, London, SW4 7UJ
• If you are submitting more than one piece, please correlate into one document
• If you are submitting more than one piece, you only need to send one video of one of your entries
• Artists will receive £10 expenses for their travel
