Applications are now open for Criterion New Writing 2020 and it’s free to apply and take part.
How it works: There will be 3 sets of 6 workshops. Each will welcome 6 writers to the stage of the Criterion Theatre, Piccadilly, for a sequence of highly-focused script development sessions, from 12h00 to 14h30 on this calendar:
Winter 2020 – January to March 2020
Spring 2020 – April to June 2020
Summer 2020 – July to September 2020
Actors will be present to read the brand new monologues and scenes on stage in weeks 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Now and then we will welcome industry guests – directors, producers, other writing development professionals and so on.
(Travel expenses of up to £20 per session will be available on presentation of receipts.)
