SHORT PLAYS WANTED!
Bite-Size Plays in association with Pleasance Theatre Trust are searching for new ten-minute plays to be performed as part of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
If selected, your piece will be performed in rotation as part of one of three menus throughout the entire run of the Fringe from 2nd – 26th August 2024 at one of Pleasance’s largest venues, The Beyond.
A license fee of £70.00 will be paid for each successful submission.

Selected scripts will be announced in the week commencing 01 July 2024.
SCRIPT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- Submissions must be received by 12:00 pm on Monday 3rd June via email and attached as a PDF or Word document.
- Only play scripts will be accepted, intended for live performance. Film, TV, and Radio scripts will not be accepted.
- Your piece must be no longer than 10 minutes in duration, therefore we would advise a page count of 10-12 pages maximum.
- Your piece must work with basic sound/lighting and minimal props.
- The cast size recommendation is 1-5.
- Adaptations, full-length plays, and sketches will not be accepted.
