Carla Grauls announced as winner of Nick Darke Award

As reported in The Stage, Carla Grauls has been announced as the winner of the Nick Darke Award.  The Award, funded by Falmouth University, is presented to a playwright writing on an environmental theme.  The £6,000 prize is designed to support the writer in developing their piece.

Playwright Carla Grauls has won this year’s Nick Darke award, a £6,000 prize that celebrates the “best writing for stage, screen and radio” on an environmental theme.

Grauls, who is the co-founder of the Hurly Burly Theatre Company, won for her entry Made for Him.

  1. could you please tell me if this is the winning entry for 2020? Or is it for 2019? I thought the later competition winner was to be announced mid September or later.
