Call for Playwrights: 20-Minute Plays Needed!
4 Playwrights, 2 Actors, 1 Relationship.
Caromoon Productions are seeking passionate and new playwrights to submit short, 20-
minute plays for an exciting evening of theatre centred around the evolving relationship of
two women in their late twenties, Julia and Alex. Your work will join three other selected
plays, each telling a pivotal moment in their journey together to form one play.
What We're Looking For:
New playwrights who are looking to have their work showcased, maybe for the first
time?
Unique voices and fresh perspectives on modern relationships.
Thought-provoking, emotional, and/or humorous takes on love, connection, and
conflict.
What we offer you:
The selected plays will be performed as part of a four-performance show at a
London fringe theatre in Spring 2025.
Each chosen playwright will receive a fee of £100 and one free ticket to a
performance of their choice.
Writers will have the opportunity to join one rehearsal session to see their play in
action and collaborate with the creative team.
