Cast, Doncaster’s Performance Venue, is looking for an early career, Northern Playwright to support their new Young Writers Club and to act as a positive role model to our young writers and develop a piece of their own writing.
The role will include assisting workshops for young people aged 8 – 11, 11 -14 and 14 – 21, attending a script R&D day, rehearsal day and showcase and being commissioned to develop a short script (inspired by the same stimulus us the participants) which will be performed and showcased by professional actors on one of Cast’s stages alongside the work of the Young Writers Club.
