City Fox Books is a radical indie publishing press based in East London who are looking to publish a limited series of 6 full-length plays written for stage this summer.
They would like to see plays which are unconventional, and are particularly interested in plays which are:
- surreal
- feminist
- experimental
- absurdist
- existentialist
- or politically subversive in nature.
Plays can be any genre, but they will not consider anything which could be considered racist, sexist, transphobic or homophobic.
Plays must have at least 2 characters.
Plays can be up to 110 pages.
Anyone over the age of 18 can submit, the play must just not have been published before.
Send the full script as a pdf or word document to cityfoxbooks@gmail.com along with a short author bio and a cover letter with a bit of information about why you wrote the play.
If successful, your play will be published in a limited edition run. You will receive author copies.
As they are a small press they cannot provide royalties upfront however once 25 copies of the book have been sold via their website, they can offer you 50% royalties on all future copies sold.
