Staging Rehabilitation – in partnership with Geese Theatre 9 March 2023
Taking place in Birmingham, this masterclass is for both theatre artists and criminal justice professionals interested in arts in the criminal system. Facilitated by Anna Herrmann, Artistic Director of Clean Break and Andy Watson, Artistic Director of Geese Theatre.
Unlocking Potential 16 March 2023
Learn how to build safe, creative and transformative spaces for women affected by the criminal justice system and develop a rich toolkit to improve your practice. Facilitated by Anna Herrmann, Artistic Director of Clean Break and Rachel Valentine Smith, a Creative Associate of Clean Break.
Rewriting Justice 31 March 2023
Learn how to facilitate playwrighting workshops in criminal justice settings, women’s centres and the community while examining the personal and social value of this work. Facilitated by Anna Herrmann, Artistic Director of Clean Break and Creative Associate Titilola Dawudu.
The cost for each session is £95 (excluding fees). There are a limited number of bursary places which are available to anyone who has direct personal (not professional) experience of the criminal justice system.
