DIRECTING YOUR OWN PLAYS
A weekend workshop led by Russell Lucas in partnership with London Playwrights and Fourth Monkey Drama School.

More and more writers are directing their own plays and films, and in this intense weekend workshop, director Russell Lucas is bringing in Fourth Monkey Alumni actors for you to explore your text in collaboration with them.
Studying intention, movement, and rehearsal techniques, Lucas will reveal his methods for:
- creating an actor-focused space
- collaborating with the actor’s skill set
- identifying your writing’s actionable objectives
- –directing a performance
The weekend culminates in an informal sharing of your work.
