REDRAFTING with Clive Judd
15th April 2-4pm
On Zoom
Join Papatango Prize-winning playwright Clive Judd as he takes you through some of the key steps that turn a prize-winning play into a performance-ready one. Looking at two separate drafts of Clive’s play ‘Here’ we’ll work together to identity the key decisions a writer needs to make when approaching a redraft of their work. Clive will also open up on his ideas of dramatic action and how he uses the concept of ‘detour’ to create unusual and unexpected dramatic scenes.
Note: This workshop takes place online on Zoom. You will be sent a Zoom link 24 hours before the event.
BURSARY PLACES: Each of our workshops have 3 free bursary places for those needing support to access the workshop. To apply for free place please email info@downstagewrite.uk with a short introduction to yourself and why a free place on the workshop would help you as a writer.
