BFI NETWORK South West is excited to launch the fourth iteration of New Voices, a talent development scheme aimed at underrepresented writer-directors in the region.
They’re seeking writer-directors who have a short film idea but need some support to develop their script, build their confidence in the craft and prepare them to apply for BFI NETWORK funding. They’re working with partners Blak Wave Productions, Little By Little Films and Bristol AF Productions. New Voices will run from Tue 23 Sep to Wed 17 Dec 2025.
Applicants must be 18+, out of full-time education and based in the south west of England.
