How to Pitch for TV: Networking event for disabled writers

DANC (Disabled Artists Networking Community) is a regular networking event for Disabled Artists of all art forms. The event is hosted by a different theatre or arts organisation every 4-6 weeks and allows artists/performers with disabilities to network with invited Industry Guests. It allows everyone in the room to be part of the conversation and solution in the drive for change for  inclusivity and representation of disability in the arts.

Throughout DANC events, producers and production companies have expressed their desire to see more pitches submitted from disabled writers. After discussions with one of the previous industry guests, Justine Potter on how best to create a solution for this, Justine would like to offer a “How to pitch for TV” workshop for disabled writers

The workshop will be run by Justine Potter, Head of TV Drama Development at LA Productions, Usman Mullan – Assistant Producer at BBC Writersroom North and Lindsay Williams – Story Producer at Coronation Street.
