INFLUENCING MACHINE are seeking short plays inspired by their dark comedy dystopian podcast, The Future History of the British Isles (Future History) by Hugh Dichmont.
Criteria and Brief:
-Plays must be 5-minutes long, and be inspired by the themes of our podcast
-No monologues
-Applicants must be based in the Midlands
-Writers of all levels of experience are welcome to apply
-This is an unpaid opportunity
The winning play will be performed script-in-hand by actors from the BAFTA Award-winning Television Workshop, on Saturday 6th July, as a curtain raiser to our new production, a stage adaptation of Future History.
Performance:
Saturday 6th July, 7pm, the Television Workshop, Nottingham
