Scenesaver is excited to announce Just Write! – its international playwriting competition – a search to find the most talented new playwrights.
Up to six lucky winners will have their plays performed by professional actors at The White Bear Theatre in London in March 2023.
We are looking for exciting new talent, so have tried to keep the rules as simple as possible. We want writers to let their creativity and inspiration shine through.
The play can be on any subject and in any style. There is no entry fee to submit your work and anyone aged 17 or over can enter. The play must, however, be written in English
We want people to create a “must see” play. Something innovative, a performance that will engage an audience and be something theatregoers will recommend others to see.
And because we know not everyone enjoys writing or finds it the best way to create, we are accepting entries either in written form or as a recorded read through version.
