Let’s Write a Ten-Minute Play! with Sarah Congress (via Zoom)

A one day masterclass for anyone who has ever dreamed of seeing their stories on the stage!
Focusing on character and beats, Sarah will show you how to create a beginning, middle and end – in just ten pages.
This class is designed for all writers – new and experienced.

NB: This class will be taught on Zoom (Saturday, September 21 12:30-4:30 PM ET) and will be capped at 20 students. Registrants will receive the Zoom link to the email address they use to register. It will arrive immediately after registration so please check your spam folder if you do not receive it. It will also be sent the day before class as a reminder. Sarah Congress is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. Most recently, her comedy Overdose won 2nd place for Best Short in the 2023 Downtown Urban Arts Festival at Playwrights Horizons. She co-wrote the screenplay, I Can’t Hear You, which won BEST COMEDY in the 2024 Jersey Shore Film Festival and 2nd place in the APin3 Film Challenge in Asbury Park. In 2021–22, her ten-minute play Dracula…in Denver! received five different productions at various theaters across the US (San Francisco, New York City, etc.)
