Sarah Congress is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. Most recently, her comedy Overdose won 2nd place for Best Short in the 2023 Downtown Urban Arts Festival at Playwrights Horizons. She co-wrote the screenplay, I Can’t Hear You, which won BEST COMEDY in the 2024 Jersey Shore Film Festival and 2nd place in the APin3 Film Challenge in Asbury Park. In 2021–22, her ten-minute play Dracula…in Denver! received five different productions at various theaters across the US (San Francisco, New York City, etc.)
