The most compelling plays show us a vivid snapshot of the world they occupy; conveying interesting details about time, place, and atmosphere.
World building can be something we overlook as writers as we focus on developing other aspects of our work such as plot and structure; but spending some time intricately building the world of your play can add a valuable extra layer to your work.
In this workshop, you will explore writing techniques to help create and convey the world of your play and examine how other playwrights do this successfully.
