People are complicated and nuanced and often they do things that are cruel, have opinions that are misinformed and prejudices that are less than savoury. How do you write those characters that are so removed from your own views?
During this workshop we will look at excerpts of text from various plays that showcase difficult topics and characters. In advance of the session, you will also be asked to write a short scene based on a volatile situation and/or character to talk about in the session. The scene and character options will be given to you at random when booking the workshop.
