This workshop is designed to help you find confidence and a feeling of play when working with Shakespearean text.
Through a mix of exercises, practise and discussion, we’ll familiarise ourselves with the rhythms of a Shakespeare scene and explore why we might choose to edit, change or adapt his work.
Run by dramaturg and actor Angus Bower-Brown, this is a workshop is for anyone who finds themselves in love and/or frustrated with Shakespeare (maybe in equal measure!).
Angus Bower-Brown is an actor and dramaturg trained at the Oxford School of Drama. He co-founded the New Renaissance Collective, which became artistic residents of the CLF Cafe Peckham in 2018. He has performed at the Soho Theatre, the North Wall and is a reader for the London Horror society.
