LPW Workshops Online: TV Adverts Creative Boost
This three-week course will use well-known adverts from television as a way into understanding the essential techniques of storytelling. The best TV ads showcase complex characters, watertight dramatic structure, and heart-warming moments of empathy all in under a minute’s screen time. By analysing a number of the best ads from the best few years we will make discoveries about storytelling that will benefit writers in any medium. All that time on the sofa this lockdown may not have been wasted after all!
Who’s it for: Writers at any stage who are in need of a creative energiser.
