Magnetic Island seeking one act plays

Calling all playwrights!

Magnetic Island (MI) is looking for One Act plays (max. one hour long) to become a part of their 2019/20 programme. They are looking for plays on any topic and in any genre that they can collaborate on and bring to life in the upcoming season.

If successful, MI will produce your play and ensure that your script is surrounded by a professional and passionate team of theatre-makers. This will also include an ongoing process to nurture a creative relationship with you and to develop possible future projects.

How to apply: All you have to do is submit a copy of your script (all right reserved) through their website at magneticisland.org.uk/2019-submission and they will get back to you as soon as they can. Even if your script is not successful for the 2019/20 season, they would like to help you develop your material and nourish whatever creative relationship you feel could be fulfilling for you; so don’t hesitate to submit works-in-progress!
