Monday Monologue Club
An evening dedicated to the solo performance returns to the Old Red Lion, curated and presented by Artistic Director Jack Robertson.
Championing the very best in new writing whilst offering a stage for local actors to showcase their skills, this regular night is open to standalone speeches or monologues from full plays in development. From the hilarious to the heart-wrenching, this is a relaxed evening that supports emerging and established talent in an award-winning atmospheric theatre. Monologues must be 2 to 6 pages and run between two to ten minutes in length of performance.

If you would like to be considered for this date please submit your speech via email – jack@weareoldred.co.uk by Friday 7th March and please state whether you will be performing your own work or provide the casting breakdown. Actors will be sourced by the producer for the performance if required.
This is an unpaid opportunity but writers/performers will receive up to two comp tickets to the event. Future events TBC.
