Submissions are now open for NSDF26.
If you have a show or work-in-progress that you think could be performed or shared at next year’s festival, the NSDF team want to hear from you.
NSDF is a festival for young theatre makers aged 16-25, taking place at The Curve Theatre in Leicester. Make valuable industry connections, with a week filled of workshops, panels, networking and mentoring, with opportunities to be selected for awards and bursaries. Last year’s associates included renowned industry professionals such as: Dr Rio Matchett, Guy Jones, Jessie Addinall and Elin Schofield.
This year’s theme, NOW NEXT invites you to immerse yourself in the present moment – to reflect on the world around us: its realities, challenges, politics, and possibilities.
At the festival, you’ll imagine the future of theatre: what do you want it to become? What risks will you take, what new forms will you create, and how can technology and experimentation shape what comes next?
– Find the Application form on the NSDF website
– Open to ages 16-25
– Anywhere in the UK, but must be able to travel to Leicester for the duration of the festival
– Unpaid opportunity, but free festival of workshops and mentoring
Deadline: 5 January 2025
