New Writers Collective supported by All3Media.
The New Writers Collective is an opportunity for uncredited, unrepped aspiring TV writers. Now in its fourth year, we are delighted to offer the 10 selected writers an extended programme including:
- A free pass and accommodation for the 2026 Edinburgh TV Festival
- Free access to TV Foundation events for a year
- A free pass to the 2027 Edinburgh TV Festival
- Free priority access to our screenwriting event First Draft in March 2026
- Industry guidance from executives at All3Media and from across the Group
- Access to a supportive community of peers and an alumni network of new writers
There is an entry fee of £24. The entry fee covers the costs of processing and assessing submissions. We are committed to paying all of our script readers the Real London Living Wage and want to ensure fair assessment. All longlisted writers will also receive reader feedback on their script.
We can supply fee waivers, where appropriate, for anyone who would like to apply but is unable to pay the entry fee – please email the tv.foundation@thetvfestival.
