Last year, Unlimited created a survey to see just how many disabled artists, arts workers and creatives were regularly expected to do something for nothing. With over 300 responses to date, they can confirm that 87% in the cultural sector have been asked to do something for nothing and only 3% never do so. So how can we stop the exploitation of disabled artists and art workers? How can we make the cultural sector fair and accessible for everyone?
Between Monday 17 and Friday 21 April, Unlimited are going to focus on this problem. They’ll be sharing free new resources, case studies and opinion pieces on our website to support organisations, disabled artists and arts worker.
Join them on Thursday 20 April, 2pm – 4pm, as they share more from our findings and explore what we can do to solve this.
