Open Call – The Writer’s Mark – Actors wanted – The Leonora Carrington Series

In the final week of Brighton Fringe Festival (28th May-1st June), the Regency Town House will be taken over for one week by The Writer’s Mark to celebrate the life and legacy of the enigmatic artist and writer of short stories – the extraordinary Leonora Carrington (1917-2011).

Forming part of this event will be an immersive promenade performance piece, which will transport our audiences into the wonderful world of Carrington – we are hoping to have some of her amazing surreal stories performed as part of the Fringe – involving ensemble work, physical theatre, mime and puppetry. More information about this will be shared at the auditions and via email.

The Writer’s Mark are looking for actors, dancers, puppeteers – Performers who’re comfortable with experimental physical theatre or have experience in this form.
