We are seeking scripts for our forthcoming Anti-Valentine’s Day showcase in February 2025.
Tired of the saccharine soppiness of Valentine’s Day? We’re seeking original scripts that offer a refreshing alternative to the usual romantic tropes. Whether you’re happily single, cynically romantic, or nursing a broken heart, we want your unique perspective on love, relationships, and everything in between.
This showcase will be professionally directed, acted and produced, and performed at a well-known London fringe theatre.
Submission Guidelines:
Character Limit: Maximum 3 characters
Length: No longer than 10 minutes
Genre: All genres welcome
* Open to anyone who is a resident in the UK and Ireland.
* Entries may have been previously performed.
* Entries should be 12-point text with double spacing, please include page numbers.
* Please ensure that your name, contact info and the play title are on the cover page.
* Entries to be submitted via email in PDF or Word format.
* Please send scripts to: openpageproductions@yahoo.com
* Please include a short synopsis (no more than 50 words) of your play in your covering email.
* No more than one entry per playwright.
Please include Submission, your name and the title of the piece you are applying for in the header of your email (e.g. SUBMISSION – NAME – TITLE).
Submission Window Deadline: Midnight 20th Nov 2024
