Each week we look through our pile of writing opportunities to pick out one we think is particularly worth your time. It could be an innovative brief, great prize money, a high-profile company, or just plain fun.
This week’s pick: London Writers’ Week 2017
Description: London Writers’ Week is back for 2017 and promises to be a week jam packed full of interesting events for writers. This year’s theme is to provide access to and showcase the best new ideas going on in terms of writing for and using Digital Media in the UK.
What’s so great about it? London Writers’ Week is a great way to network, get advice on your writing and gain an insight into some of the best new ideas going on in the world of writing. Tickets for the events cost as little as £5, or less if you opt for the festival pass, which will you get you entry to 24 events for just £60 – that’s just £2.50 per event! (We’ll also shortly be sharing a discount code alongside an exciting announcement, so watch this space.)
If that doesn’t get you clicking through the listings, then you should also know that London Playwrights’ Blog will be running three events as part of the week: kicking off with a panel discussion on Making your own work in the digital age, followed by our Creative Inspiration 2.0 workshop and finishing up with a networking event in the bar. We’ll see you there!
