Opportunities: Pick of the Week – Spring Classes with London Playwrights Workshop

Each week we look through our pile of writing opportunities to pick out one we think is particularly worth your time. It could be an innovative brief, great prize money, a high-profile company, or just plain fun.

This week’s pick: Spring Classes with London Playwrights Workshop

Description: London Playwrights Workshop (LPW) is a non-profit company that offers support to emerging writers. In addition to running London Playwrights Blog, LPW offers script consulting, events, and classes to help playwrights reach their creative and professional goals. Spring 2017 workshops range from 8-week creative writing workshops, to one-off practical sessions aimed at professional development.

So, what’s so great about it? Have a new year’s resolution about your writing? Whether your goals are creative or practical, LPW has got you covered! There are workshops appropriate for both beginning and experienced writers. Whether you’re looking to get a handle on structure, find your voice as a writer, or get real-life guidance on self-producing from writers who have done it themselves, there’s something for you – guaranteeing that 2017 is the year you can make progress in your career as a writer. It’s also a great chance to network and connect with other writers, or meet the LPW team if you’re interested in getting more involved with the company or blog. The first courses start on 18 January and places are limited, so we recommend booking early to guarantee your place!

Read the full details here.

Normally, this is where we note that we’ve posted this for your convenience and we’re  not affiliated with the organisers of the opportunity. But this week, it’s directly from the LPW team – thanks for reading the blog and supporting our work!
