Opportunity for Writers & Storytellers

Opportunity for Writers & Storytellers

I’m currently developing a new show and workshop—Oops, My Neurodiversity Is Showing!—set to debut at Brighton Fringe 2025 and beyond. I’m looking for writers and storytellers to contribute their experiences to this project.

How You Can Get Involved

You (or someone you know!) can participate by:
✅ Sharing your own story—Submit a video, audio, or written story (max 150 words / 1 minute). here https://app.storyprompt.com/prompts/f1s9Oujaqbi2AFiGSKd3
✅ Arranging a call with me—We can chat over Zoom, and I’ll shape your story into a 1-2 minute monologue. here: https://calendly.com/ginny-evans-pollard-d-and-a/oops-collaboration

✅ Letting actors & improvisers bring your story to life—With your first name only, or anonymously.

What Kind of Stories?

We’re looking for real-life moments shaped by ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Autism, or associated mental health—formally or self-diagnosed. Also people who are LGBTQI+ or both.

🎭 Consider these prompts:

  • Ever had a ‘whoops!’ moment thanks to your neurodivergent brain?
  • When has your unique way of thinking led to a funny mix-up or unexpected reaction?
  • Got a story where your neurodiversity stole the show—awkward, hilarious, or both?

Submission Details

🔗 Submit your story here: https://app.storyprompt.com/prompts/f1s9Oujaqbi2AFiGSKd3

📅 Deadline: March 28, 2025 (It only takes 7 minutes!)

This is a voluntary project, but I’m open to discussing profit-sharing from the shows. Contributors can be credited, and names/locations can be changed for anonymity if preferred.

I’d love for you to be part of this journey—whether by contributing a story, spreading the word, or connecting me with others who might be interested. Let’s make this project truly inclusive and representative of neurodiverse and LGBTQI+ experiences!

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,
