[Ed: the title of this post has been corrected, it was initially miswritten as ‘Physiology’ due to some unspotted autocorrect!]

As part of the Phytology programme, artists Duncan Robertson and Lucía Montero will commission a series residencies for writers, poets and song writers during Spring and Summer 2015.

Writers are invited to develop original content for VOICED, a project that explores the cultural heritage of the Phytology site and its ecology through song and spoken text.

The residency program will run for a period of four weeks within the Bethnal Green Nature Reserve, East London. Writers will produce one original piece of writing to be recorded for a site specific sound installation and online broadcast.

A selection panel will interview the shortlisted candidates and award each artist a bursary of £1,000 to cover the residency period.

How to apply:  please explain why you are interested in the residency project (250 words) and attach five examples of recent work – voicedproject@gmail.com.
