This 10-week course is designed to help develop and give structure to the participants’ dramatic writing and sessions will be led by professional writer Greg Mosse. The participants’ brand-new scenes will be read live in a supportive workshop, giving Greg the opportunity to pass on tips and strategies for successful dramatic writing.
The participants are encouraged to share their work by email ahead of each week’s workshop, which will include group reading of each person’s scenes, shared discussion on how to improve, and suggestions and advice from Greg. By the end of the 10 sessions, you should end up with a well-plotted drama lasting about 20 minutes of stage time. The final workshop of the term will also give you a chance to experiment outside of the usual weekly structure.
