PlayZoomers, a live, online theatre company, seeks short (10-20 min.) scripts for online production in
2026 and 2027.
We seek humorous or serious, clever plays on the following themes:
Imperfect love
Winter holidays (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s Eve/Day)
Comedies (any subject)
Theatre
Scripts should be suitable for online production. No script submission fee is required. If we produce
your play, you will receive a small stipend. Scripts can include up to six characters.
Please email scripts (PDFs only) to playzoomers@gmail.com. In the email’s subject line, put “(Theme)
play submission: [title of play] by [playwright].”
If you are submitting multiple scripts, send each onein a separate email. Please do not submit a script you have previously submitted to us.
On the first page of your script, include the title, playwright name, estimated run time (no longer than
20 minutes), and contact information. On the next page, include a logline/synopsis, a detailed
character breakdown, production history, and a short playwright bio.

The deadline for this round of submissions is April 30, 2026. As we read through scripts, we will
acknowledge your submission and reach out to you only if your script is selected for production.
