Pencil Dive is a script writing group for writers of any level of experience.
Each month Pencil Dive has a different theme and every writer brings in a script (1-10 mins long) that they have penned in answer to said theme. We all have a cup of tea and a biscuit, and the scripts are read aloud by some lovely actors. This is followed by a short discussion on each script where we say only positive and encouraging things.
There are 10 writers in the group which will initially run February to July meeting on the 1st Wednesday of the month – 7pm-9pm – at the Pleasance Theatre, Islington. At the end of the 6 month period there will be an open reading, where you can invite friends to come along a listen to a re-drafted sample of your work.
