he Putney Playwrights (PTC’s new writing initiative) will be holding a meeting at Putney Arts Theatre on 2nd July 2025 at 7.30 p.m. and all interested parties are welcome!
We’d love writers, directors and actors from the recent FIRST LOOK showcase to come along and tell us what made it a good experience, what didn’t quite work and what you’d suggest would make the next show better. We’d love all the Putney Playwrights to be there too to review how the group (still relatively new) is going, what isn’t quite working, what could be done better etc. And we’d like anyone who is interested in joining us on our voyage into play writing to come along too! Together, we can learn from the past and plan for the future.
So … Please come with ideas for things we could do and things you’d like to do to help out. And for every problem, please think of a solution.
FIRST LOOK was – I think everyone would agree – something of a triumph for all the writers, directors, performers and techies involved, skilfully knitted together by Roger Blitz and Rob Wallis. If the next one is better than that we are doing VERY well! Come and join us.
