The IdeasTap Takeover is a five-day festival at London’s Rich Mix featuring some of the most exciting artists in the UK. This opportunity is open to writers aged 16 and over.
There will be all sorts of creative delights on offer. There’ll be double bills of original theatre, screenings of curated short films, scratch events, live performances and creative workshops, and much more besides.
With this in mind, they are looking for writers who would like to have a rehearsed reading of their work in front of an industry audience at Rich Mix in east London. If you have a script in the development phase and you want to try it out on an interested and supportive audience then this is your chance.
What you get: They’ll be recruiting a pool of paid actors for you to work with, and, if you’d like, we’ll also be able to offer some rehearsal space in their offices on Bermondsey Street. All actors and writers will be paid £50 each.
How to apply: Submissions can be made via the IdeasTap brief. (Note: you must create a profile on the site before you will be able to apply.)
Deadline: 17 December 2013 at 5pm
