Do you have a passion for new writing? Could you successfully work withwriting talent to produce exciting new work for the stage?
As Playwright Mentor, you will mentor Sheffield Theatre’s Bank Supported Writers and act as a point of support for other writers working with Sheffield Theatres and assist the theatre in discovering new talent and developing new plays and musicals for the stage.
You will also help to dramaturg new plays and those under development by reading scripts and providing feedback and notes.
You will work alongside our New Work Officer to ensure the smooth running of the New Work department and its work.
