Sheffield Theatres are looking for artists to take part in the Rolling Residency programme.
The Rolling Residencies are for theatre creatives based locally to Sheffield Theatres who would benefit from space and funding in the development of a project or idea.
They are interested in ambitious and exciting projects and ideas at any stage of development. This programme is about giving artists the resources they need to reach the next stage of their project. This “next stage” might be the creation of a new draft of a script, space to experiment with new collaborators, or an R&D for a more developed project.
There will be three application windows between July 2023 and May 2024.
The first application window closes on Friday 13 October 2023
Each Application Window has a funding pot of £4,000. Artists can apply for £500, £1,000 or £2,000 and either 5 or 10 days of free space in a rehearsal room at Sheffield Theatres.
Artists can only apply once to each Application Window, multiple applications to the same window will be ineligible.
