The Hot House, a development lab for scripted TV and film projects about climate change, will open for submissions on December 1st.
Have you thought about writing a script addressing climate change? Join us for a panel event with screenwriter Richie Mehta, BBC Content Editor and TV Lead for Sustainability, Gaby Hornsby, BFI Senior Commissioning Editor, Lizzie Francke and Climate Spring director Lucy Stone where they will be discussing the importance of storytelling to combat the climate crisis.
The development lab, hosted by the BBC Writersroom, BFI and Climate Spring, offers the opportunity for shortlisted writers to have three months of one on one support to develop their ideas, and to pitch for development funding from Climate Spring.
Join on Wednesday 23rd November, 16:00-17:30 for an online panel event. Learn more about writing for climate change and be the first to find out more about what the Hot House development lab will offer.
