The Playwright’s Laboratory are hosting two Playwrights Networking Events as part of our Pop Up Festival of Plays at the Arcola Theatre from 25 April – 5 May.
From a docudrama set on the doorstep of the murder of George Floyd, spiralling into a gangster-torn Singapore, and drifting into one Canadian’s journey through grief – TPL’s Pop-Up Festival of New Plays gives audiences a chance to engage with new plays emerging from around the world.
On Thursday 27 April and Thursday 4 May we are hosting a drinks reception after the reading, giving playwrights a chance to meet fellow writers, directors, and those passionate about new writing.
Details:
Thursday 27 April, 7pm
Networking event in the bar after ‘100 Years Stray’ by Japanese playwright SaringROCK, translated by Aya Ogawa
Thursday 4 May, 7pm
Networking event in the bar after Australian playwright Merlynn Tong’s play, ‘Golden Blood’
We hope this will be a great opportunity for London Playwrights to connect and get inspired by two incredible international new plays.
