Thunder Theatre are a micro performance production company and they need material for their prospective micro shows.
They are currently gathering plays so that they can assign them to theatre companies or freelance directors and actors in order to produce their shows.
What they are looking for: plays lasting 15-20 minutes.
What to send: a document including the title of the play. name, phone and e-mail of the playwright, and the script.
*Script format (NOT synopsis, ideas, stand-up… they want PURE THEATRE). The author must have the absolute rights of intellectual property, either in its original version or adaptation.
Plays must be original and without prior performances in London.
There is no closing date or entry fee. Writers will be paid with a percentage of the box office profit.
How to apply: send your work in Word or PDF format to thundertheatrelondon@gmail. com
Deadline: none posted
Source: direct contact
I’m afraid your email address is rejected as a ‘non existing address’.
Hi Claudette, I’ve just tested it and it seems to be working now so might be worth another try!
I have also attempted to submit & was notified to correct the email address. No sign of its having been sent.
Is it possible a period or space or…has been omitted?
Hi Wayne, I’ve just double checked and the email address listed here is correct (they emailed us from it to tell us about the opportunity) I’m not sure why your email didn’t go through to them but I can try to contact them and see what’s going on. Will keep you posted!
Best,
Kimberley
Many thanks Kimberley. I’ve just sending it again. Strangely enough, I didn’t find any trace of the sending!! Aaaaah computers 🙁
I’ve just received an email from Kimberley saying the Thunder Theatre replied that their email works. I hope so because I sent my play on 15 Oct 2018. I suppose that if I didn’t get receive any info, it’s because I didn’t get through
Email isn’t working 🙁
I’ll check this again with the organisers, Daniel. It’s strange because this is the email address they use to contact us on, perhaps their inbox is full – I’ll get back to you as soon as I know more.
Best,
Kimberley
There is an extra space between the dot ( . ) and ‘com. Remove it and all is well.
I submitted to ‘Thunder Theatre’ back in October 2018, then April 2019. Never head a thing! Anyone else had a similar experience?
