Tiny LGBTQ+ Shows development weekend for LGBTQ+ Theatre Makers open for applications

Tiny LGBTQ+ Shows is a development weekend for LGBTQ+ Theatre Makers where 50 people will come together to create an afternoon of tiny shows to fill Omnibus Theatre with LGBTQ+ talent as part of 96 Festival.

How it works: On Saturday morning 50 theatre makers will unite and begin to create shows with dramaturgical and production support from both The Larder and Omnibus Theatre. Facilitated by Jenifer Toksvig using Open Space facilitation, the group can include actors, musicians, stage Managers, directors, writers, improvisers, knitters or any other kind of maker.

Professional development schemes are often expensive and inaccessible but Tiny Shows is a “Pay What You Decide” initiative uniting LGBTQ+ theatre makers as a community in order to support our work across London and beyond.

After participating in the initiative you are welcomed to the LGBTQ+ Tiny Shows community, a support groups of makers invested in LGBTQ+ theatre.

Previous weekends have created a sock puppet musical about bisexuality and the LGBTQ+ superhero project most recently seen at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
