WGGB have an upcoming event for playwrights and comedy writers who are based in Edinburgh or who are showcasing work as part of the Edinburgh Festival and/or Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
On Saturday 24 April, they will be running a town hall meeting for writers at the Pleasance Brookes Bar between 1-3pm. This meeting is partly an opportunity for writers to share their experiences of the Festival – both good and bad – with the union, as well as to meet and socialise. It is open to both members and non-members of the WGGB.
