White Noise Theatre are looking for Queer/LGBTQIA+ Writer-Performers to be involved in a new piece of theatre, “PlantGays”.

The Project…

R&D of a new play about plants, queerness, and relationships. Rehearsals twice weekly online, two days of in-person rehearsals in late May, culminating in a final scratch performance at ChewFest at The Lion and Unicorn Theatre, 25th May .

Up to £60 of expenses covered.

We are looking for…

Writer-performers who identify as queer or as LGBTQIA+, who are based in London, or who are willing to travel for rehearsals/performances.

The Auditions…

Auditions will take place online on the 2nd of May. please email theatrewhitenoise@gmail.com to book your audition slot.

Please bring something you’ve made in response to the themes of plants, queerness and relationships! It can be anything you’d like! Feel free to refer to our padlet page for inspiration: https://padlet.com/selwwin/rg3yueg32xul53th

Auditions will consist of a short discussion about what you’ve brought, as well as a performance of a monologue we’ll provide.
