This course is recommended as a follow on from Introduction to Writing for Audio. Find out more here.
You’ve got the fundamentals of audio down. You know your sound effects from your dialogue. You know how to create interesting worlds, moments of action and are beginning to get to grips with writing exciting content for radio. So, let’s take it to the next step!
In this 4 week audio course, you will have the opportunity to share extracts from your work in progress ideas, scripts and scenes and receive weekly feedback, as well as have the opportunity to work through practical exercises which will deepen you knowledge and understanding of writing for audio. Additionally, participants will have their chance to ask burning questions, gain further insight into commissioning production companies and how to pitch your play to them. This course has been designed to be a step-up from the introductory course but is still very much about development and gaining new skills.
