Starbound Theatre is looking to produce a brand new play this year and continue its work exploring identity and promoting women’s voices and diversity on and off the stage.
What to submit:
- Female led, 4 characters max. Diversity (in ethnicity, country of origin, languages/accents etc) preferred. Ages 20s and up.
- Themes: Identity (playwrights are free to interpret what that means to them).
- Also keen on plays touching on: women’s rights, mental health, time/age/memories, Brexit/immigration/transnational issues/belonging/cultural clashes, language/communication.
- 1 hour long
- Simple set if possible
- Any writing style
