Join the BFI Southbank to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Woodfall Films, the revolutionary company who pioneered the British New Wave, with a month-long season this April.
Highlights includes the screen adaptation of Osborne’s stage-play Look Back in Anger with a sensational -almost Brando like – performance by Richard Burton. As well as lots of events and talks where we look forward to welcoming a host of actors – from Tom Courtney to Joely Richardson – into the BFI to explore how these kitchen sink dramas completely revolutionised British cinema.
